This 45 minute fun, high energy session is set to an awesome playlist of dance music and features body conditioning, core strength and balance training – in a fun way!
Wondering what RaveTone is all about? Check out the video and see what you think! All jumps are optional, you choose the depth of your movements, dance with or without glowsticks – it’s your workout, just have fun!
RaveTone is a moderate-high intensity cardio, strength and endurance workout, introducing equipment-free body conditioning, strength and endurance training to group dance fitness classes and offering something a little bit different to a standard ‘legs, bums, tums’ type of class, for those who prefer an uplifting dance-focussed session, with an amazing Ibiza inspired house soundtrack.
The format was created by fitness professional Anna Martin, one of Clubbercise’s master trainers. Anna has fused bodyweight resistance moves and functional fitness with high energy cardio, resulting in a total body toning and aerobic workout, which is not only effective but also great fun. RaveTone ‘leg tracks’ will focus on the lower body muscle groups, with various types of squats and lunges, while upper body routines will focus on the arms, shoulders, chest and core. There will also be balance challenges throughout the class and we finish with a yoga-inspired stretch and flex section, so you’ll leave the class relaxed and refreshed!
The lighting will be low, we’ll have disco lights and you can even dance along with glowsticks if you like! You can bring your own, or reusable LED glowsticks can be purchased through ‘en Joy dance fitness here.
All fitness levels are very welcome to join these classes, no dance experience necessary! It’s a variable intensity follow-along session and high impact movements (such as those in which both feet leave the ground at once) are kept to a minimum, but you can choose to keep your movements small or you can make them as big as you like, depending on your level of fitness.
Booking in advance is currently essential as there will be a limited number of participants for your safety.
